I honestly don’t know whether or not it’s on purpose, but the content over the last week or so has been abysmal. I’ve seen the theories that they’re doing it on purpose to drive down the auction price and drive away traffic. If that’s true, for me, it’s starting to work. Let’s take a look at everything that showed up on the front page over the last 24 hours.

Bad example - I actually enjoyed this one quite a lot. While the end result isn’t a luxury car (helloooo typical Gawker click-bait title), it would certainly be a nicer place to be.

I’m not entirely sure this warranted a post. Umm.. ok? Yes, land yachts are gone and have been replaced by SUVs. This might have been relevant about 25 years ago when the Explorer became insanely popular.

COTD is always a win in my book. It’s the commentariot that makes Jalopnik great. However, it’s the content that drives the comments, so when one suffers, so does the other.

Classic Jalopnik - a stupid thing done in a car, people yelling and video evidence. It’s like a little slice of Gawker on the front page, well, without the race-baiting and white shaming.
